Vivant : the new restaurant of Pierre Jancou

Vivant, the new restaurant of Chef Pierre Jancou is gaining attention. The setting is completely amazing in this former bird shop, now decorated with earthenware tiles from the floor to the ceiling with furniture and assorted tables made of marble or Formica. Traditional and natural wines prevail with this fresh and crazy products enthusiast. Andouillette casserole, foie gras Dupérier (master in this category), Colonnata or burrata bacon from the cooperative Latte Cisterino located nearby, the non-starred Chef but not less publicized, awakes our taste buds. Now we are sure, we are happy to be alive to enjoy these dishes!

Open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday.

Café Francœur : The Old Style Bistro of Montmartre

The Café Francoeur is settled in the old Paris, at the heart of the most picturesque district: Montmartre. Its name is a tribute to the Sacred-Heart Basilica. In fact, this establishment 100% bobo is situated near the monument, at the corner of Francoeur and Caulaincourt streets. Residents of Montmartre love this bar-restaurant for its neo-retro atmosphere and its sunny terrace in summer. The food is simple but tasty: Tartar of beef or salmon, tart tatin and fresh cream, vanilla crème brûlée. As for the decoration, you can admire old tiles, a traditional zinc bar, not to mention the dark wood ever-present. A nice place to discover eyes wide shut.

A chic retro stopover at the Petit Trianon

The chic retro charm of the Petit Trianon reminds us consistently these Parisians cafés from yesterday where friends would gather round a drink or a nice strong espresso. Here, sitting on soft sofas, the pleasure is intense when discovering the menu. This menu seems to be very nostalgic as it has classic and provençal inspirations: tarragon cockerel, vanilla-flavoured rice pudding and snack for a quick lunch. The retro-chic restaurant of Chéri Bibi

Paris is perhaps not known as the city that never sleeps the way the Big Apple does, yet it can boast of being a city that knows how to reinvent itself. The proof being that neighbourhoods such as Montmartre and the east of Paris are attracting more and more young Parisians. Among the trendy yet bobo eateries is Yanning Samot’s third restaurant – the mischievously-named Chéri Bibi – which he opened after le Cul de Poule and la Famille. With a vintage sofa from the 50’s and felt almost like a garage sale in design, the restaurant serves nicely-done, unpretentious, traditional food. Never mind the general hubbub of life, simply allow yourself to indulge in some relaxation. A great place to go with a couple of friends!

The idea for this restaurant and cocktail bar came from “Just Brigitte and Elsa”, two slightly eccentric friends who decided to set up a gastronomic journey around the world. From burgers to Bo buns and tuna rillette, you cannot help but let those sweet flavors transport you. For a punchy addition to your meal, try an original cocktail such as the “ Doudoudidon” or the mischievous “Un été dans ma culotte” (“Summer in my panties”)! Before checking out, don’t forget to tour around the place to enjoy the regular exhibitions. A girly address Parisians love!

A little extra: We fall for the decoration with bold black and white striped lamps and angel wings hanging from the ceiling!
